Very poor service

Very poor service . Unprofessional, unrealizable service .
Supposed to evangelize my piece of furniture same day from IKEA , Croydon but not able to evangelize their promise ii days later on despite reassurance that the item would exist deolbered next day afterwards get-go dialed attempt .
Please avoid in all cost !

Not off to a peachy beginning

Not off to a great start. Had two tasters booked in for tomorrow morning at 10.30am and but received a message at 22:15pm the evening before cancelling on me!! My partner took the the twenty-four hour period off work and TaskRabbit won't seem to allow us reschedule someone new in place for tomorrow now! So far a waste matter of time

A complete waste matter of time

A consummate waste of time. Scheduled and planned with 3 different people beyond the course of a week with every single one not following through. Guys that are probably just trying to earn a living just something doesn't work with this system/gear up upwardly as the excuses given are - most likely- to prevent a bad review on their personal page (my van was broken into, or I take to get to a funeral) but the only person that volition lose out is y'all. Don't use this booking system.

Very unprofessional and rude tasker.

Taskrabbit times for painter tasks are late evening and night times only as on their bookings. I booked this task person to practise some painting piece of work and the just time was 6pm and above on a Fri, he called and we discussed time alter side by side 24-hour interval at 2pm ( still not skilful time for me) but accepted. This person called me and said they were going to be 30 minutes late, which was inconveniencing for me every bit I have modest kids around. This person did not turn upward and I had to abolish the work. He calls me near 45 minutes afterwards telling me he will be 10 minutes late, I suggested we changed to a day he could exist gratuitous to do the painting at an earlier convenient time.

This person started insisting claiming I made him lose 2 jobs that he must come and do the painting. While using an ambitious tone and proverb "people like me"… I hang upwardly at that. He calls again this time telling me he is homo and makes mistakes and so on.. Afterwards the aggression, I changed my mind. How can I trust a person with such a tone to come in my house and paint??? Are these people even checked before accepting them on their websites for jobs?

Another one ruined my office chair when assembling it and asked his father to come the next day to gear up it, who likewise asked me to pay him 😅. Tin you believe people from this company?
I will never ever use them again even though some of them are decent people on there.

Be careful earlier you book tasks. Check for reviews first and save yourself.

Foreign service

2 people fabricated an offer, however the kickoff one was invalid afterwards a few minutes and the 2nd 1 tried to take an extra coin for fixing the wardrobe. He told me that £35 will stay on the app and the residue of the money goes as a transfer to him. Very unsure about this website. I'm very sceptical.

Under skilled tasker out of depth and no refund

Our job involved replacing existing doors with newly purchased fire doors. 5nr to exist exact.
As the burn down doors were thicker the tasker realised that the existing door frames would not be suitable and proceeded to try to change the doors and frames to make them fit. This resulted in doors being cut downward which invalidates them equally fire doors, hinges existence recessed into the frame. In improver doors were damaged, hinges grind on each other, doors do not close and miss the latch because they are too far away.
At the time i advised the tasker to move the door stops to account for the additional thickness simply he ploughed ahead.
I now have 3 doors that demand replacing and have had to pay £500 in labour for the tasker which task rabbit take not refunded.
Client service trying to hide backside not being notified for 14 days, it was on the 15th day after he had said he was coming dorsum to finish the task.
Approximately £900 out of pocket here.

Atrocious company and Dreadful service, Avert!

The drivers damaged a product I purchased from Ikea and made it out to sound like a normal occurrence. Upon delivery parts were even falling out of the box onto the physical footing, subsequently scratching the metalwork (I wish I was exacerbating). Even so the delivery driver still proceeded to hand the goods over. Worst of all I take been contacting customer services on and off for ii+ months, each time being told they are looking into information technology and will get dorsum to me. Weeks and weeks later and no response in sight, I achieve out over again to be told they volition look into it. Beyond useless and hopeless service, I will seek a resolution by other means.

Shocking 'Service' / Lack of communication

Shocking. Booked a Tasker for IKEA wardrobe assembly. He messaged me the night before to confirm fourth dimension and place then .....didn't show, didn't communicate and his mobile number was invalid. Their live chat handler ended alive chat and said I had 'stepped away' when I asked them to call me. I tried to phone Customer services 3 times and each time was told a expect time of 3 minutes and gave upwards later on 10. Really bellyaching at having to spend a couple of hours trying to resolve this. Really surprised IKEA are using them. Will practise task myself.

Trying to force me to use their website again past refusing to refund my coin

It has been over 4 weeks since a TaskRabbit colleague said I'd exist contacted about my refund and I am still withal to hear anything. Anyone reading this I would recommend non using this service; this ordeal has been very stressful and infuriating. I don't see how information technology benefits this company to treat customers similar this? How are you supposed to trust a company that acts like they can do whatever they want with your money? My offset time using this website and unfortunately it will also be my final.

TaskRabbit refusing refund and holding customers money

TaskRabbit take exhibited extremely poor customer service. I left a review 6 days ago requesting a refund of coin that is due and they have not responded. Information technology seems the company are all as well happy to take money but not provide whatsoever support to their customers. In this difficult time it is extremely unreasonable for TaskRabbit to be holding on to £85 that is not due to them. If a client is no longer going to employ the website and the tasker will not exist receiving the coin then what happens to it?
